Chepsir Farm
At the heart of our operations is the Chepsir Honey Fields farm. Here, we maintain our own hives using a combination of traditional and modern beekeeping techniques. Our farm serves as a model of sustainable beekeeping practices and a training ground for local beekeepers.

Community Cooperatives
In addition to our own farm, we've incorporated the community through a network of
beekeeping cooperatives. This model allows us to:
- Support and empower local beekeepers
- Ensure a consistent supply of high-quality honey
- Spread the economic benefits of beekeeping throughout the community
- Preserve traditional beekeeping knowledge while introducing modern techniques

Beekeeping Process
At Chepsir Honey Fields and our associated cooperatives, we combine traditional Kenyan beekeeping wisdom with modern sustainable practices:
- Natural Hives: We use a mix of traditional log hives and modern Langstroth hives.
- No Chemicals: Our bees are never exposed to pesticides or artificial feeds.
- Minimal Intervention: We let our bees do what they do best, intervening only when necessary.
- Sustainable Harvesting: We ensure our bees have enough honey to thrive year-round.
- Knowledge Sharing: Regular workshops allow our cooperative members to exchange techniques and experiences.
